Pelican has been building watercraft in North America since 1968. What started as a small canoe manufacturer in Quebec has grown into one of the largest paddlesports companies in the world, with distribution across North America, Europe, and Australia.
The fishing kayak program grew out of a simple observation: most fishing kayaks on the market in the early 2000s were either too heavy to transport without a trailer, too expensive for most household budgets, or too unstable for serious fishing use. The Catch series was developed to address all three problems at once.
Today, Pelican is the manufacturer behind the Catch 100, Catch 110, Catch 120, and Catch 130 series a range of fishing kayaks covering 10-foot recreational models up to 13-foot high-performance platforms with integrated pedal drive options.
